The Aussie Airport + Kiwiland

Transit @ Melbourne airport.
A chicken schnitzel sandwich with fresh mushrooms, cheese and beetroot. Schnitzel is a meat coated in breadcrumbs and deep fried. This is a traditional Austrian dish which is very common with the Aussie and NZ due to the large presence of German or Austrian Heritage.

Another version of schnitzel sandwich. 10 Aussie dollar.

Flight which was delay for 3 hours. Cheers Jet Star !!

The Aussies and the Kiwis are very strict with the agri/horti materials or items that are allow to be brought in to the country.

We spent our first night in the Kiwiland this way. Sleeping in the airport.

A hot pie to warm up the chilly morning.

Pretty decent Cheese and Ham Quiche.

Finally, the garden city of Christchurch. Punting @ Avon River.

Not in the mood to elaborate more really. Sorry.

Even before conversion, already so expensive!!! Waht airline did you take? I thought usually transit Sydney...and then fly to Christchurch?

It wasn't a transit actually. I bought Air Asia flight to Melbourne. Jetstar to christchurch. Save a fortune.
